There is so much to do in the Littledown Park!
ALTITUDE High Ropes Adventure at Littledown Park is our latest leisure attraction providing a sense of high thrills and excitement. Sessions are available to pay on the day or you can save money and guarantee your place by booking in advance!
Have a splashing time in the paddling pool which is open during the summer months and free to use. The Paddlers kiosk situated next to the play park sells ice creams drinks and snacks. After a splash about, take a walk on the wild side and try to spot green woodpeckers, foxes, wild birds of prey, herons, bunny rabbits, pretty flowers and trees. Whether you fancy a stroll in the early morning, evening or on your lunch break, there is so much wildlife to spy in the acres of parkland.
1 Mile Circuit
A one mile marked running trail (marked every 1/4 mile) takes you around the Littledown Park. The route starts just outside the front of the cricket pavilion and whether you take a face paced walk, jog or running timed laps, the trail provides a structured route perfect for intensive training, warm ups and cool downs!
There are also seven fitness stations dotted around the park marked on the map above (and outside in the park). These allow you to do Hurdle Jumps, Recline Pulls, Tricep Dips, Knee Raises, Lateral Jumps, Press Ups and Step ups in the fresh outdoors!
The Littledown Park is home to The Bournemouth & District Society of Model Engineers miniature railway which runs on a Sunday and Wednesday.
It also has its own leisure orienteering course, so try out your map reading skills and see how quickly you can complete the course!
