Investing over £300K to improve facilities

Stokewood Leisure Centre is investing over £300K in it’s gym and swimming pool to improve the facilities ready for the start of the Autumn term.

Essential improvements to the swimming pool will include;

• Updating the swimming pool filtration system
• Refurbishing the pool surround (tiles and water gullies)

Essential repairs and maintenance works must be undertaken to ensure that the swimming pool maintains it's high water quality and that the already high customer satisfaction levels of the facilities are retained.

Stokewood Leisure Centre is a key site for providing swimming lessons throughout the year, so it is vital that the works are carried out during the quieter summer break with minimal disruption to the swimming lesson programme, club and school timetable.

The investment at the Stokewood Leisure Centre, will transform the gym and ensure a more modern, spacious and attractive facility to meet the ever increasing demands of its visitors.
