We are now a few weeks into the High Ropes build at the Littledown Centre!

The build is really taking shape now and the various elements such as; Swinging Logs and Tyres are being attached to the structure.

       The attraction will open in early June, session times, packages and prices will be announced shortly.

Built in the Littledown Parkland using natural materials such as rope and wood, the high ropes course will consist of two different level activity platforms up to a height of 10 metres.

There will also be a climbing wall of 11 metres,  a drop platform of 11.5 metres and a zip wire over the Littledown Lake providing high thrills and a sense of adventure aimed at all ages and abilities from 5 years old through to adults.

Key features will include:

• Two different levels of course offering a high course and a low ropes course for different abilities
• 11 metre climbing wall to test your strength, logic and nerve!
• The Leap of Faith – a 11.5 metre drop
• A zip wire over the Littledown Park Lake for the ultimate thrill

Participants will be clipped onto the course under supervision, as they climb, leap, jump and traverse off the floor.  Highly experienced instructors will facilitate safety, enjoyment and learning, providing customers with a fantastic experience to remember for years to come.

Groups can be actively occupied for a great away-day, or customers may want a taster session on their own or an adventure party with family and friends. A variety of challenges mean that team activities can be combined with individual for an adrenalin-surge adventure.

Q/ How much will a session on the new course cost?
A/ We are currently looking at the pricing structure for this new activity and plan to make it appealing and affordable. As soon as a price has been agreed, it will be published on our website.

Q/ Will there be a height restriction?
A/ No – the low course has been adapted so there isn’t a height restriction. However the minimum age to take part in this activity will be 5 years old and under 8’s will have to be accompanied by adults on the higher elements

Q/ How long do you think it will take to get around the course?
A/ After the welcome and safety briefing, we estimate it will take up to an hour to complete the course subject to your ability and level of courage!
