The More Bus Bournemouth Air Festival will be the resort’s largest FREE event. Taking place 28-31 August it’s a chance for everyone from families to aviation enthusiasts, to celebrate and enjoy the wonderful world of aviation.
From aerobatic and World War II aircraft to today’s astonishing supersonic jets, The More Bus Bournemouth Air Festival will celebrate aviation’s greatest and powerful achievements.
A landmark event for the town, the festival will take place between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers and in the Lower Gardens. Expected to attract thousands of visitors there will be something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day and into the early evening.
The free four day festival will be thrilling and breathtaking. With planned shows by crack international display teams, including Britain’s world famous Red Arrows, beach landings and marching bands, with exhilarating contributions from the armed forces, it promises to be the most spectacular four days Bournemouth has ever known.

A festival in the truest sense of the word there will be masses of family fun and live entertainment. With interactive displays, fascinating ground demonstrations, live music, fireworks and a balloon glow in the Lower Gardens every evening.
So grab your diary and make sure the More Bus Bournemouth Air Festival is booked in for 28-31 August, the weekend after the August bank holiday – it’s an event not to be missed!
