Job Vacancies
Casual Health and Fitness Advisor: £7.45hr, Sir David English Sports Centre
Sir David English Sports Centre has two vacancies for Casual Health and Fitness Advisors.
You must have a Level 2 Qualification in Gym Instructing.
You must be friendly, approachable and be able to work on your own. The role of Health and Fitness Advisor will include inductions for new Gym users, writing new and challenging programmes for existing Gym users and equipment maintenance.
Bar and Catering Assistants: £6.37hr, Littledown Centre.
The Food and Beverage department are keen to recruit staff to work in the Café and Bar. We have Full Time and Part Time positions available. When apply please details the number of hours you would be able to work. No previous experience is required but you must have good spoken English.
Must be over 18years of age due to Licensing Laws.
Creche: £6.28hr Littledown Centre
An assistant is needed to work in the Creche on Thursday mornings (including school holidays). You must have experience of working in Childcare. Extra shifts will frequently be available through out each rota period.
Chef – Maternity Cover: £14,882 - £15,470 (BG2a) pro rata, Fixed Term until January 2009 Littledown Centre
At the Littledown Centre our busy Cafe and Bar provides meals from our new and improved menu. We are looking for a Chef, qualified to City and Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent, to join our Kitchen Team for a fixed term of employment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, stock and quality control, food safety and hygiene on a daily basis and for special events. You must be able to work well in a team, be organised and have all round cooking skills to carry out the varied duties required.
The hours of work will include some early evening and weekend work on a three week set rota basis, but no split shifts.
