The Exercise Referral Scheme is for people who have a medical issue and feel motivated to start a programme of exercise to benefit their health.

There is an initial joining fee of £10 (£6 Blue Freestyle Priority Card Holders), which includes the following benefits:

• A one-to-one consultation with an exercise referral specialist

• Access to a range of special activity classes

• Your first two classes free of charge or, if relevant to you, a free Gym Induction

• A 12-week period of reduced activity prices

• Ongoing help and a telephone support line
